Being a mom and a grandmother has been my life's most important role and my oldest daughter reminded me that I have always taught my children from a very small age to leave the world better than they found it. This has applied to every aspect of our families' lives (hauled out 8 large garbage bags of garbage from a camping spot once) and since being reminded that I have always lived with a smaller foot print than others naturally (figuratively not actual size in foot) I realized I really should keep trying more things. Be a better human. Then she introduced me to these Beeswax Wraps. Well, of course, I tried them. Then I had to make them. I now love them. I do prefer my homemade ones to the thinner mass produced ones. I do feel they are made to last so to speak. I trust the freshness with my whole being.
Thank you for checking me out and I hope to continue to grow with our planet and make it as a whole a better place.
Thank you for supporting a plastic free environment and also for supporting my homemade small business.
You are making a difference in the world as well as my families lives and you are so appreciated.
I make each wrap myself and do my best to make them as stable and long lasting as possible.
They will be tacky and rigid at first due to wanting a good solid coat to provide you with a good chance it will last a long time.
They will have imperfections (cutting a straight line is not as easy as it seems) and they will wrinkle and crease over time with use and folding.
They are an amazing way to reduce our footprint and not rely on plastics as an earth-loving community.
When you purchase and use your biodegradable wax wraps you are helping to remove approximately 900 to 3,600 pieces of plastic
wrap from our oceans and landfills each year.
Thank you
The Ransomes

What to do when your wrap has wrapped its last wax wrap?
Rewaxing is always a good option.
Yet there comes a day when they have been used beyond repair and there are ways to dispose of them.
They can be composted as all the materials are natural and they will naturally biodegrade with time.
They make great fire starters.
Cut into strips or smaller pieces and roll into small balls and use for outdoor fires like a BBQ or campfire.
